Celebrations of Life
An uplifting Life Celebration may be conducted at any time following a death. Sometimes families are distanced geographically. Scheduling at a later date allows more time for planning and travel arrangements.
Scattering of Ashes Ceremony
Colorado is one of the top ten states who prefer cremation over burial. Some families choose to have a Ceremony outdoors with scattering of ashes. A permit is free and required to scatter ashes in Rocky Mountain National Park as well as other National Parks. Wildlife frequently makes an appearance at Colorado Celebrations of Life to make it even more memorable.
You may wish to combine any of these Ceremonies: Celebrations of Life, Remembrances, Memorials, Ash Scatterings, Funerals, Green Burials, and Graveside Services. Perhaps a private Green Burial or Graveside Service at a Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at a Venue with friends and co-workers. Sometimes families prefer a more traditional Funeral or Remembrance, followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date. You have options!
A Memorial or Celebration of Life may be held at just about any location or venue you desire. Outdoor Ceremonies are extra special being surrounded by the serenity of nature. Visit the Resources page for more ideas.
